The Rape of Christendom

In the Book of Genesis in the Holy Bible, a cruel and calculated sexual crime was directed toward Dinah, Jacob’s daughter. As stated in Genesis 34: 1-2, "And Dinah the daughter of Leah, which she bare unto Jacob, went out to see the daughters of the land.  And when Shechem the son of Hamor the Hivite, prince of the country, saw her, he took her, and lay with her, and defiled her."  Therefore, as should be expected, Jacob’s sons were extremely angry at Shechem, the rapist. As written in Genesis 34: 5 and 7,

5And Jacob heard that he had defiled Dinah his daughter: now his sons were with his cattle in the field: and Jacob held his peace until they were come.
7And the sons of Jacob came out of the field when they heard it: and the men were grieved, and they were very wroth, because he had wrought folly in Israel in lying with Jacob's daughter: which thing ought not to be done.

Now, several thousand years later, most people in the United States would most definitely agree with Jacob and his sons that rape is something that “ought not to be done,” including the President of the United States, the members of the U. S. House of Representatives, and the members of the U.S. Senate. However, the President and many congressmen and senators have a sordid viewpoint of Christianity. In fact, they are clearly guilty of attempting to annihilate Christianity from America’s public sector as evidenced in their laws and actions addressed negatively toward Christians in general.

But, what examples exist that would prove that Christianity is being “raped” in the United States. First, President Obama has stated several times that America is no longer a Christian nation, including in his inaugural address in January 2009. This, in itself, is blasphemous to God the Father and the many Christian statesmen that wrote the United States Constitution, which is the foundation of the American political system, as shaky as it is at present. An American president who professes to be a Christian and his supporting cast should not give constant recognition to non-Christian religions. Yes, they have the freedom to worship in America. But, they do not deserve extraordinary recognition in a nation where 9 out of 10 Americans profess to be a born-again Christian. It “ought not to be.”

Second, President Obama regularly proclaims from the rooftops that Islam is a “peaceful” religion. However, he seemingly does not have time to give the same recognition to the very faith that he professes to follow. In fact, how many true Christians are wanted for violent crimes? How many true Christians kill family members for accepting Islam over Christianity? How many true Christians strap bombs to themselves and blow up themselves and hundreds of other people? How many true Christians fight against Islamic believers just because their religion in different than theirs? Of course, this does not happen because it goes against the “peaceful” lifestyle of god-fearing Christians. Therefore, it “ought not to be” with all Islamic believers, too.

Third, President Obama, based on his actions, has permitted his Islamic roots to sway his support away from well-known Christian evangelist Franklin Graham to Imam Feisal Rauf. Unfortunately, Rev. Graham, who has a son serving in Iraq, was denied the opportunity to speak and pray at the Pentagon because it might offend Muslims. Whereas, Imam Feisal Rauf has been given the opportunity to represent the United States in the Middle East with Islamic nations. Also, many other Islamic leaders that are working for the State Department at taxpayers’ expense, too. Needless to say, there is something distorted with this picture. It “ought not to be.”

Fourth, President Obama’s obvious support for the Islamic faith has caused Muslims in America to attempt to curtail Christian in areas where they have mosques. One such example is presently occurring in Hartford, Connecticut. According to Restore Free Speech.Com, Muslim leaders in Connecticut are working diligently to get state legislators to prevent the Gospel of Christ from being preached from the public forum around Islamic mosques. Of course, this could be the beginning of Muslim attempts to prevent any other religion but Islam from being preached in America. If they are successful, America might not be a Christian nation in the very near future, since Islam has religious, legal, political, economic, social, and military components. In fact, in all of the 27 countries ruled by Islam, the church is the state! No other religion will be tolerated. This “ought not to be.”

Finally, probably the most deliberate, diabolical, and politically correct attempt to disgrace and defile Christianity is the “rape of Christendom,” as inferred by President Obama’s hosting of a special evening meal or “iftar” on Friday, August 27, 2010, to celebrate the Islamic fasting month of Ramadan (He participated last year, also). It is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar and it represents the time when the archangel Gabriel spoke to Muhammad in a vision and gave him the instructions for the Islamic faith, which included the writing of the Koran. However, it would appear to be more logical for a Christian to spend most of his or her time talking about his or her love for Jesus Christ and the Church that He founded, instead of constantly promoting the faith of Islam. For example, if a boy only talked about Mary when he was around his girlfriend Sue, Sue would eventually figure out that her boyfriend loved Mary more than her. Also, why should a Christian president constantly promote Islamic events when he does not have time to participate in the National Day of Prayer, which is extremely important to the Christian community and the nation as a whole? This “ought not to be.”

Ultimately, the American Christian community needs to speak out loudly to its governmental leaders concerning the “rape of Christendom” in America. In the criminal justice system, rapists are put in prison for a long time. As a result, there are less rapists walking the streets and stalking their next victim. However, maybe it is time to put some of America’s anti-Christian politicians on the street and replace them with bona fide followers of Jesus Christ in every office in the land. This “ought to be!”

P.S. According to President Obama, celebrations like iftar dinners “remind us of the principles that we hold in common, and Islam's role in advancing justice, progress, tolerance and the dignity of all human beings.” But, what type of justice exists when Sharia law stones people to death for crimes that do not merit the death penalty. What type of tolerance exists when no religion but Islam is recognized in Islamic nations? What type of dignity exists when women are treated worst than dogs in Islamic-controlled nations? Of course, the major progress that Islam is achieving is gaining control of American institutions at the expense of Christendom. Hopefully, America’s leaders will open their eyes before it is too late to prevent Islam from taking complete control of the United States. They just need to look at the gradual takeover of Great Britain and France by Islam’s just, tolerate, progressive, and respectful followers. Then, afterward, they need to compare Islam with the manner in which true Christians operate their societies in the free world.
